Build a stronger biotech network—without doing it alone.

Biotech Networks Connect brings scientists, industry professionals, mentors, job seekers, marketers and regional biotech communities together in one focused online space.

Find relevant people, discover networking opportunities, develop your career and stay connected to the life science community between events.

Networking should be more than collecting contacts

Life science careers are built through relationships: research teams, conferences, collaborators, mentors, professional associations and trusted colleagues. BN Connect helps you turn those scattered interactions into an active and relevant professional community.

🔎 Make the right connections: Search the member directory by geography, experience and profile information. Connect with people who share your scientific, professional or regional interests.
📅 Discover opportunities: Use the BN Networking Calendar to find life science events with meaningful networking opportunities, including regional, professional-development and industry events.
🤝 Build real relationships: Continue conversations before and after events, exchange resources, ask questions and become a contributing member of the biotech community.

One community. Multiple ways to connect.

BN Connect is organized into focused spaces so you can participate in the parts of the community that are most useful to you.

📍 Regional Communities: Meet people in major US biotech hubs, share regional information and help shape future virtual and in-person Biotech Networks events.
🧬 Life Science Topics: Join conversations related to drug discovery, genomics and diagnostics, artificial intelligence, medical devices, marketing and other areas of the industry.
💬 Virtual Events: Participate in workshops, discussions, regional networking rooms, meet-a-mentor sessions and other interactive online programs.

The BN Networking Calendar

Spend less time searching for biotech events

Networking opportunities are often scattered across association websites, registration platforms, LinkedIn posts, email lists and regional calendars.

The BN Networking Calendar brings relevant opportunities together in one place and organizes in-person events by region. Listings link to the outside organization’s registration page, so you can quickly find the details and decide which events support your goals.

  • In person, inclusive events
  • Regional event categories to help you plan
  • Events selected for their networking value
  • External registration links

“The best networking event is not necessarily the biggest event. It is the one that helps you meet the right people for your goals.”

Career development with community support

BN Connect’s mentoring programs help life science professionals move from information to action.

🧭 Explore Career Pathways: Learn about industry roles, career transitions, transferable skills and ways to position your scientific experience.
🎯 Strengthen Your Job Search: Access guidance related to resumes, LinkedIn, interviewing, networking, personal branding and job-search strategy.
👥 Connect With Mentors and Peers: Participate in mentoring cohorts, mock interviews, one-to-one conversations, workshops and ongoing peer-support spaces.

Our first mentoring cohort brought together 42 mentees and 17 mentors for group discussions, one-to-one mentoring, presentations and career-development resources. Program materials received particularly strong satisfaction ratings from participants.
